Absolutely awesome experience! I have been supplying them and buying from them for over 5 years now. I always encounter friendly and efficient staff, who do their utmost to show me their latest fashion when I am looking to buy. When I drop of my clothes, I get a receipt immediately and a few weeks later an e-mail with a listing of items and prices followed by prompt payments when the clothing items sell. The store is great and top-notch. Will definitely continue to support you!

Warning! Stay away! Received back shoes they couldn’t sell, and it’s been worn and worn badly! There are even some tears. I couldn’t believe my eyes, will be visiting the owner soon and see what she got to say about it. Absolutely red flag!

Sent photos in before I dropped items at the shop, was told "we are very interested in your items". Seven months later... What a nightmare. Never doing business with this shop ever again. Emails don't get responded to, resorting to sending multiple emails to get a response. Update: Within the day of posting this review I was 'told' to come collect my items. I just tried to ask for an update after not hearing anything for four months. In giving my opinion of how this business is run I was told my response was unacceptable, lol. No, you don't tell clients you are going to contact them and then don't, and force the clients to send multiple emails over several months to get updated and then tell the client you're upset. No. I will not encourage anyone to use this business/service. Rather donate or sell it online yourself. *2020 update: still waiting on payment of sold items from months ago & they "lost" the strap for one of my designer bags!! So I will be receiving nothing for it! Almost a whole year past. 2nd Take pay your suppliers!!!! And keep them updated with monthly statements/emails!!

First of all: Google says they open at 09:30, their website says 09:30, facebook says 09:30, but when I got there (Monday morning) staff told me they open at 10:00. Secondly: After a price was confirmed on facebook marketplace I went to the shop the next day, to my surprise it was all of a sudden increased 3x without any reason nor was I informed of this increase. After a staff member informed me of the increase I explained to her about the price on facebook which led her to call the owner. After talking on the phone for a couple of minutes she informed me that the owner refuse to drop the price back to the original. Apparently this happens quite often. The lack of average reviews but only 5 and 1 stars gives you a clear indication of the type of business 2nd Take is. It's a coin toss, you might either get what you want at a good price, or you will be mislead and swindled.

Absolutely awful experience. I have to send a minimum of 4 emails plus follow up phone calls for any kind of response as to sales itinerary/late payments etc. It's simply not worth the hassle and constitutes theft. I'm currently chasing my December payment and haven't heard back 4 emails later, completely fed up. Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of my clothing back from them as this constant chasing is taking up too much of my time. 100% do not recommend.

Good place to donate your expensive branded clothes and shoes. However, do not expect to get paid for your items or ever see your items again. After following up on the whereabouts of my 40 items for two years I am very tired of sending emails.

Stocks good quality high end gently worn pieces at reasonable prices. You will not find Prada, Vuitton or Chanel here but rather labels like French Connection, Country Road, Gap etc. Beware, however, of getting Second Take to sell your pieces as they vanish into a black hole never to be seen again. An admin fee needs to be paid to get your goods back so unless you need the cash rather donate to a charity...

Great place to shop for well priced, designer items that are unavailable in South Africa. Beautiful new shop and friendly staff. Love my almost new jersey! Will definitely frequent this shop to see the constantly changing new stock!
