Flat easy 5k. Showers and toilets on the beach. Route is mostly paved but you can run on the grass next to the route. There's an option to run on the road next to the beach if you don't like running on sand

I have done 90 PARKRUNS thusfar at 11 different venues. This is one of the best and very enjoyable. (For what its worth, BETTYS BAY parkrun is still my #1 choice.) TOTI's first 2,5 km is standard stuff; the second part is on the sand and good for training but PB will be filtered right here. Taking a quick dip 800 m from the finish line was a highlight for me. Fantastic to be out in this glorious sunshine. Thanls to Charmaine and Elmarie for their encouragement. What a way to start the year. Promenade and beach walk. Fabulously well organised.

First run today was great! Every single Saturday at 8am and it's free. Nice way to connect with the community and to get fit at the same time
Always fun and friendly people
An excellent team of volunteers ensures this parkrun "runs" like a well oiled machine. A difficult course because 2km is on the beach but very enjoyable.
Thank you so much to the Marshalls , we had a wonderful time .
