I ordered 20 mixed culls of Neocaridina from McMerwe to Cape Town and am 100% happy. Order took 2 days to arrive, packaging was excellent and all 20 shrimp were alive and well when received. They had a good mix of colours namely yellow, blue, black, red and wild. The sizes varied from quite small 1cm to fully adult. I was suprised by the adults as they tend to ship pretty badly I read, but mine are fine. I acclimated for temperature only (30 min then net and release) as it is my view that ph acclimation takes weeks to achieve so I never do the drip method - just my opinion. I had no fatalities thus far. Side note, I had to remove black neon tetras from the tank, they turned out to be shrimp eaters - be warned. Small fish could be adult shrimp safe but not if they can swim fast. Big thx to McMerwe for 20 beautiful and fascinating creatures.
I have purchased a number of items from McMerwe, the quality and service are always excellent. The livestock and plants are some of the best too. I recently ordered some neons and they arrived well packaged and were very healthy. Ill definitely make some more purchases in the future.
I ordered 6 Chilli Rasboras online and all 6 of them were delivered to my house healthy and alive. I will definitely order from them again in the future. They were really well looked after.

Absolutely mindblowingly good service! I ordered plants online and Jacques contacted me personally to inform me about when he will be dispatching the plants. After dispatch i recieved my tracking number and eta via whatsapp. The order arrived today, packaged extremely well. After unpacking you would not say that the plants have been with a courier for 2 days and travelled almost 800km!! Extremely happy with Jacques' service and his products. I will definitely buy from him again in future and I can recommend him and his hands on service!
