Good evening I feel like I have been cheated by the waiter at spur carnival city. The total bill was R404. I paid R450 tipping the waiter R46. Only to find out from my account online with spur that my voucher was used but was not accounted for on the bill that I received. I spent R351 with R50 gift voucher. I need the R50 back the waiter must have taken the R50 that was meant to reduce my bill as this means the waiter tipped himself almost R100.i paid the bill and he immediately took the money and bill without me writing how much I paid and how much is his tip, he knows he robbed me, I cannot remember his name but the restaurant knows it should be on the bill .Please rectify this, I feel robbed and cheated. I will update my ratng if they resolve my issue, I wonder how many customers have fallen to this trap

Food is always great at any spur!! Service here was a bit slow, but I was not in a hurry. The view is cool from the seating close to the casino area. I see lots of Indians in Carnival City so I would like to suggest that Spur offer more lamb meals as most Hindus don’t eat beef. In Durban most Spurs offer a few more lamb dishes. Also consider a 200g lamb chop dish because often I’m not that hungry but would like to eat at Spur.

Family lunch outing to this particular Spur, around mid-February 2021. Was very disappointed in the quality of food we received. Burger buns were old and crumbly, even though lightly toasted. Onion rings were sparsely coated with batter and tasted of oil. Manager, fortunately, was very understanding and allowed for a no-charge, which we absolutely did not request. It was during the Covid-19 restricted period and extremely quiet at the time and the thought did cross our minds that they were trying to get rid of older stock etc etc. Dunno. Hopefully they'll up their game.

Always love going to this spur. The breakfast is proper value for money, along with my standard Cappuccino with cream. Staff are fantastic. Always service with a smile, especially Bayethe and Thandiwe. Always a pleasure seeing them. Keep it up Spur
