This hike has its pro's & con's. First the pro's the view at the top, on a clear day, is absolutely amazing, and if you are lucky you will get a chance to watch the vultures sore about so close it feels like you can touch them. Con's the hike is quite challenging through certain sections and it can be quite slippery, on the decent the path takes a different route which is poorly marked at certain sections and finding it can be quite difficult. The toilets at the starting point are no functional.

Very technical hiking trail, not for the fainthearted. Absolutely loved it

Great hiking trail. Moderate to difficult. Beautiful view for the top of the mountain. Will definitely be back!!!

Lovely hike, good challenge. Signage was really bad, we got lost and ended up in the highway trying to find our way back to the parking lot. Would not recommend it as yet unless you are doing the 4km short hike.

Stunning views, trails are well marked. The road to the reserve is a small dirt road but definitely worth the drive. Would definitely recommend.

The best hike in the Magaliesburg! Very quiet and the best views. Definitely recommend this trail for anyone keen to do a 2-4 hour hike close to the city.
