Not recommended. Although very busy the service was good. The atmosphere and venue are very good. Maybe my mistake was ordering the cheese platter. It was terrible. The 3 slices of bread were not fresh. The olives were not tastey and I could not recognise the jam. There was a selection of 4 cheeses which were mostly tasteless. All in all a disappointment.

It was a very relaxing experience, being allowed to pick your own grapes, which is of excellent quality at an equally excellent price of only R9. 50. Wandering through a neat and perfectly kept vineyard definetly an added bonus to your excursion. Great wine tasting too and good food plus excellent service on top of it all! What more can you ask for? Well done De Krans, we'll be back!

What a wonderful setting right next to the vineyards and apricot orchards. After apricot picking, we tasted some excellent wines with a friendly and knowledgeable wine taster. The wines were full value for money and we took away more than we had planned. The restaurant served up some very tasty meals. All round a most enjoyable experience

Lovely waitresses, lovely venue, good food. Would like to see a savoury lamb shank, I don't eat sweet (port) meat.
