1st Belvedere Scouts

1st Belvedere Scouts is an active scout group that are experienced and motivated who regularly attract media attention due to the activities we are involved in. The group started first in 2015 and has since grown in numbers. The group is a member of SCOUTS South Africa and actively participates in Regional and District events. We currently have one active sectors operating at 1st Belvedere Scouts: Scouts (Ages 11-17). Here at 1st Belvedere Scouts we strive to deliver excellent activities that are well thought out and planned thoroughly which enables our young scouts to excel in the areas of scouting and personal development. Scouting changes lives and helps children and young adults to reach their full potential. Leadership abilities, teamwork, self-motivation, commitment, perseverance, environmental and cultural awareness and strong values are just a few of the life skills our members acquire whilst having fun and ‘learning by doing’. Positive peer pressure and outdoor activities all contribute to individuals growing up with the belief that they can and are changing the world in order to leave it a better place than how they found it.
