Framing co. was established on 2nd February 1992. Sharon Peers founded the company, and her business partner, Chantal Coetzee, joined later that year. Together we launched our first gallery the following year. We established our reputation back in those early days, and have built up a large database of awesome artists and and even larger clientele. In 1997, we moved to our own building, in the quaint De Waterkant area. We opened 3RD i GALLERY upstairs, and our framing division with workshop downstairs, in an 1700s historic building. We are known as a One-Stop-Shop for all manner of creativity! We exhibit, design, source, commission and produce art, sculpture and art-photography, as well as frame the work. Our clients range from corporate to residential, and include hotels, architects, designers and top local and international collectors and businesses. Specialities: We are respected for our innovative design and contemporary art, that we produce for specific projects around the country, in particular a well-known hotel franchise. Our framing is primarily archival- and conservation-orientated, with strong and unusual designs. We have earned a solid reputation of service and quality excellence.
