Beach is lovely to walk from Beespen all the way to Strandfontein Pavilion, but facility buildings are in serious need of care. Often lots of litter strewn about.

Nice place to sit and relax, a bit run down but the trash bins are not everflowing and the place is clean. Do not feed the guls or you will be swarmed!
A very popular fishing spot where one will always find anglers fishing. The stretch of beach is a bit rough and not recommended to swim there. Has ample parking space.
Peaceful, just some council workers that are rowdy close to the Ablution area. But very tranquil & BEAUTIFUL views of both mountains on either side. My concern is the lack of Police Patrolling as this is near high crime areas.

Good fishing spot although it's not advisable to fish alone as safety is a concern in this area.
Good fishing spot. Deep water with strong current and backwash. Fairly easy access to vehicles. Unfortunately not a safe place as lone fishermen are targeted for their tackle and other valuables. Fishing in proximity of other fishermen allows for a sense of safety.
This is the best for fishing. The angling community needs to take care of the area by seeing that the area should be kept clean they should be the ambassadors for the upkeep of the environment everyone needs to play their part.
