While the rest of Cpt has adjusted to changing demand this hip neighborhood joint did not have one vegan dish on the menu. Literally felt like a black sheep. I veganised the lentil coconut curry by asking to leave out the cheese and add vegetables or a salad. A boring undercooked brown mess arrived with a lecture from the Chef that this is how those lentils are cooked (*carnivores teaching vegans to cook lentils :-) Was able to swap it for a butternut salad which was good. Therefore 3 stars. There are many vegan nutritionists in Cpt who can advise on how to add delicious, well balanced, beautiful vegan options to menus.

White board menu with food made only from the freshest ingredients. For the best experience go after 19:00 when the main chef is in! Great wine selection too.

A great array of food with a South African twist! The portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. We were there with a group who had a ton of dietary restrictions, and everyone found something suitable to eat and enjoyed their meal. Atmosphere is cosy and staff were good!

Excellent service, really!!! Food was tasty and different. Relaxed setting with a great view of the mountain when the weather agrees. Wine list is extensive and divine.
