For the love of animals, these penguins are so cute. Make sure to take a hair tie and jacket on a windy day because it can get extremely cold. We saw some baby penguins, very very cute. Some were busy mating and the others were trying to keep warm.

Wonderful atmosphere and well maintained. See penguins, birds and enjoy the beach. A wooden walkway provides a safe route to enjoy the sights, and public toilets are available. There is a fee to enter and the place is popular with locals and international visitors. The parking lot is small and the traffic is usually heavy getting there.

I love Boulders. Swimming with penguins is a unique experience. This year I saw it from a somewhat different perspective. It's beauty is unchanged, however as an amputee access is "complicated" to say the least. Access by wheelchair is impossible and on crutches less than simple. That being said, there is disabled parking available, and thankfully the disabled bay is actually wider than a regular bay.

Penguins, what more can I say. Animal lovers will rejoice. Perfect for both adults and kids alike. I'm not from the western cape but whenever I am here I always make sure to visit Boulders Beach to see the penguins. Now in early April we right in the middle of mating season and got to experience all the trumpeting mating calls from the males.

What a beautiful clean and safe beach close to Boulders Penguin Colony. Swimming and bathing alone or together with some of the penguins. During my visit to Simons Town in October 2020 was it too cold to swim, anyway just enjoying the beach life, lingering and going through on to the entry of the Penguin Colony Resort. A very must to do. If you enter first the bath and after that the Penguin Colony make sure youn dont loose your ticket, you have to show it at the Colony entry (Kleintuin Rd). In addition a small unworked/unedited video clip and small maps to orientate.

Beautiful place to chill at a fairly private beach (entrance fees apply for beach access) or to take a walk and see the penguins on a serene trail.
