Some of the best artists and people in Cape Town, Salt of the earth. A tattoo is a visceral experience which from my perspective needs to be meaningful, that can be challenging when you don't know someone from a bar of soap. These guys know how to make each one you get feel like an experience and you feel comfortable knowing they are truly passionate about what they do. I always review after multiple experiences, can't wait for the next one here.

Staff are very friendly. Gareth's work is impeccable and done reasonably quickly. Lovely bedside manner. They are ideally located too. Only thing to note, is they only accept cash. So come prepared.

Be careful with this company, when making appointments double check your own dates or the booking lady will get it wrong and you will lose your deposit, I must say quite sketchy, I spoke to a few of my mates who rave about this studio but this story left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't get companies that do this, why do you forfeit your money? If their was work done prior to the booking where is the work, surely your potential client has paid a deposit, do you not have to share your ideas and work with your client prior to the appointment? So my friend decided to walk away from his R850 deposit and when he told me about it I was shocked that he just gave up.

I can not recommend this place enough! As soon as you walk in the friendly lady behind the counter and the staff make you feel very welcomed. The art and atmosphere inside is awesome and the artists seem really passionate about their work. My boyfriend and I both got tattoos and we’re so stoked with them! Would definitely come again next time we’re in Cape Town.

Was my first time going for a tattoo was quick and looks amazing very clean and neat, definitely going there for my second one. Cape Electric Tattoo is amazing I definitely recommend this place..... Worth every penny.
