Ethnic Mexican food. Very quaint interior. Good service . Really nice for something a bit different.

Absolutely authentic, incredibly entertaining and a thoroughly awesome experience! I highly recommend a visit, or few!

Really brilliant food and excellent, friendly service. The restaurant is warm and intimate, without being crowded. Great atmosphere and ambiance, without being too loud. Loads of tequila and the margarita's are dangerously delicious. Will be going back again. And again.

Do not go to this restaurant. Seriously, do not go! The service was awful, and the manager was the worst of all. We had to send back our food multiple times and the manager did not apologize once. Instead he took out his Blackberry, shoved it into our faces and said this is what traditional Mexican food looks like. We were so unhappy. The table next to us waited twice as long for their food and had to eat with their hands because no one brought them silverware. Do yourself and favor and skip this place. If you want Mexican food, Il Burro is SO MUCH BETTER and only a few blocks away. ️

The only true Mexican restaurant run by a Mexican family in Cape Town. It's closing soon so book now to avoid disappointment. the owners vast knowledge on Tequila surpasses a regular enthusiasts requirements. Food portions are decent but can be too the more pricey side but it's worth the experience at one of the best Mexican restaurants in South Africa.

Fantastic restaurant with great service, an extensive, authentic menu and fantastic tunes. Loved this place. We had to rush to get to a show at the Alexander and our waiter couldn't have been more accommodating. I ate carne asada which was perfectly cooked.

Their menu seems to have reduced in size over the years. It feels fairly trendy and busy on weekends. The service was prompt and attentive.

One of the best Mexican spots in Cape Town. I believe the only Mexican run one, thus really authentic. Portion sizes aren't huge but the freshness/flavour more than make up for it as you will savour this meal. Don't leave without trying the churros for dessert.
