I run a company called the Medical Research Institute and I worked with Dr Duminy in professional capacity for a number of years. I was so impressed over time that I became a patient of his, even though this had never been my intention. Now, every morning that I wake up for the past few years and look in the mirror, I almost have to laugh at the subtle, almost imperceptible work he did using natural stem cells, that must have taken ten years off my face, in a once off intervention that lasts a life time. Dr Duminy takes his work so seriously, that he is not only an incredibly talented, empathetic and understanding doctor and medical scientist, but he has studied sculpture and it is a hobby of his.That's passion! I had a breast reduction done with Dr. Duminy in 2010. He performed the whole procedure under local anesthetic, with me awake throughout and removed 2kgs (4lb) of breast tissue. My recovery was a breeze, my scars are basically invisible and it truly changed my life. I am so grateful to Dr. Duminy and would not go to anyone else for cosmetic/plastic surgery. I cannot recommend his practice and staff enough - it truly was a fantastic experience.
Dr Duminy was simply amazing! He has given me exactly what I needed, taking what I wanted into very careful consideration every step of the way. He didn't agree with the extreme I wanted to go to, but compromised to give me perfect boobies for my shape. The whole Practice is superbly streamlined, and all the staff in every step of the way have been outstanding. I wish he was a GP as well so that I could send my whole family to see him and use the whole practice more often!

I had an amazing experience with Dr Duminy, with his capable and friendly team. I had a ventral hernia repair and abdominoplasty 2 months ago (March 2017) and I cannot describe the wonderful post-operative feeling. Dr Duminy has changed my life, I now feel good about myself and that's the greatest gift I have ever given to myself. He has constantly assured me that the operation will go well, that the results will be excellent and that's exactly what happened. My wound has healed perfectly well because I have adhered to Dr's instructions and I am still doing so. I have worn my compression garment and knee-length anti embolism stockings on a full time basis (24 hours) for the first 6 weeks. I limited my movements, stayed hydrated all the time and had sufficient best rest. Adhering to Dr's instructions is key during the recovery process. Right now, at 10 weeks post-op, I still apply my micropore surgical tape on the incision line to improve the scar. I will apply my surgical tape for the next 6 months. I have read reviews from all over the world and I am proud to say I am one of those happy individuals who have undergone an abdominoplasty procedure. I would recommend Dr Duminy, the man simply has a golden touch. Once you have decided to go through with the procedure, do not seek opinions from friends and family as they will never understand what is in your heart. As long as you have faith, a positive outlook and a reputable Doctor, that's all you need. Do not be influenced by other's opinions. Prepare yourself and Do it for yourself!
Good diagnosis and recommendation received from Dr Duminy, This was followed up promptly with surgery to rectify Dupuytren's to ring and small finger by needle aponeurotomy which was expertly carried out by Dr Duminy in his own operating theatre at Rose Cottage under Bier's block local anaesthetic. Just two days layer I have straight fingers and very little stiffness or pain. So nice to be treated by such an experienced professional. The results have been excellent and with respect to the little finger the straightening was even better than expected. I appreciated the follow up call from his nurse Ria, advising me of the way forward in removing the bandage. The exercises recommended by the physiotherapist used by the practice prior to the surgery have also been beneficial. The surgery has restored full use to the hand and the needle aponeurotomy certainly saved me a much longer recovery period had the alternative open fasiectomy been used. Thank you Dr Duminy!
