Last been here ten years ago with my daughter. She was having some pain with a pimple on a birthmark, so saw the doc. The wait was worth the while. Had my 8 year old daughter with and she regaled the doc's wife and receptionist with stories. They were rather charming by interacting with her and she was rather chuffed and could not wait to tell her mom about the friendly ladies at the practice. We will have to go in for a small procedure for my daughter but whilst there the doc gave all three of us and examination at no extra charge and also gave fitted in some treatment for marks on my face. From check in at security on the ground floor, the lift takes one directly to the third floor where it opens in the practice. Highly recommended.

Dr Docrat made me feel comfortable and was very friendly. He explained the whole process thoroughly. I got there feeling very nervous and left feeling happy. All of the staff members that were there were very nice. Definitely would recommend him as a dermatologist.

Cape Town & You

You go you meet with someone more interested in everything besides what is requested. You pay and you get nothing in return, no treatment and an advise to consult another dermatologist....my question is the following if you are not able to help why waste my time and my money ??? Complete scam.

If you are looking for a dermatologist able to help you....you are at the wrong place. I called to get an appointment which i got for the very next day (which should already have rang a bell). The reason of my visit : a small Cheloid scar on my upper arm. Not very pretty but not harming, so purely aesthetical. After completing the search he told me I had to go and see one of his colleagues..... Why ? No reason given. I asked if it was a complicated removal....no answer. So I lost one hour of my life. Didn't get the scar removed and had to go and see another Doctor at R2.000,00 with another two weeks to wait. I lost R750,00 with Dr Docrat by consulting him. I have never been in such an obnoxious situation and want to inform people about this practice as it is in no ways ethical nor justified.

Most unprofessional service I've ever encountered in my entire life! Received feedback 5 months after my consultation - had to continuously follow up to get them to send the information to my doctors. Waste of time and money.
