Nice and clean but very noisy, no consideration for the patients. I saw a sign at the entrance to the Psychiatric Ward that read, Silence please, consider the patients and I was 10 minutes early so I sat and waited in the passage, my word there was no consideration for the patients, loud voices, banging doors and gates. Yes so that was my experience.

The Geriatruc Psychology Unit,headed by Prof John Joska, is well contained. However when dealing with a different medical Psych Registra each time,no doctor/patient relationship is established which is most important in such a sensitive field. Vital info is withheld but you can see it in your file. Thus can be very very alarming. Messages are not responded to either. I am ambivalenr about trust issues.
