I really wanted to say good things about the dealership since it was my first car, but I haven't had the best experience with them at all. During my first service, I had change stolen out of my car which was never escalated. They don't have a shuttle service, which is beyond me since I needed to get to work after my service, and when I bought my car, there wasn't even a courtesy gift. I love my car, but I doubt I'll be staying with this dealership for long.

We purchased a vehicle from Hyundai Plumstead around September / October 2020. The Sales Rep Jethro told us to give him R2000 for our trade in vehicle's license that expired. He told us he would sort it out, and if there is any change he will let us know. It is now February 2021 and I am still trying to get a receipt from him. I have called him many times, only to hear excuses, first of the backlog at the license department, then they do not seem to have a copy of the receipt. I am highly disgusted in that whole company as well as Jethro. He claims to be their best rep, yet he sells a vehicle and does not finish the odds and ends. I have been in the service industry for over 10 years, and can therefore say this is the worst service I have ever seen. I would advise anyone against doing business with them as well as Jethro personally. I have spoken to the Sales Manager Gerald today and will await feedback. I hope he is competent enough to sort the problem out that Jethro created. For all we know the amount we owed was not even R2000. If it is, then we are fine with it, the main thing is, that company needs to train their staff to be proper reps and to communicate with the customers at all times. They want to say now this was an extra service not part of Hyundai's process. Well, I am sure if we did this ourselves it would have been done. Plus, do not make promises to customers, while taking their money, and you are unable to deliver on that promise. I would have bought another vehicle through them, but this is the last place I would ever consider stopping at again.

They stole my car battery and the manager didn't even believe that it could have Been done, just said "it's not on the job card so it didn't happen..." I mean... how thick do you have to be? Of course no one is going to put "I stole a car battery" on the job card list??
