One of my most favorite places in the whole world to visit... not only can you get lost in a world gone by, at great prices, but the people at the Trading Post are just amazing. I hope that Tony and his crew are all safe and sound and that we will get to see them all again when the world makes it safe to travel once more. The Trading Post is a Kalk Bay hallmark - it would not be the same without it. We (my family and I ) so look forward to returning. Che from Germany

Great place. Huge variety of vintage and modern rustic items. Such a nice shop to walk through even if you're not buying anything. Prices are reasonable.

Great vintage bargains available at this store. Located in the heart of kalk bay. Accessible via public transport as well as it's close to the train station.

Quirky, quaint or charming is how one can describe all the locations in Kalk Bay, and this is no exception. If hunting for gifts, just browsing around or looking for something out of the ordinary, this might be just the place. You'll find antiques, old coins, maps and home furnishings, stuff that you just want to rummage through. You never know what you might find. Model cars, posters, books... you name it. Well worth a visit and another in the future. Great places to shop, eat and sightsee in the general area too.

I can spend a day getting lost in this place, if you can think about something, it can most likely be hidden somewhere on a shelf. Can only sum this place up as a treasure chest...which they most likely have somewhere in there as well.
