Customer service is not their strong suit, application of SABS principles are carried out, without understanding the reasoning behind it being enforced. I had asked for a set of number plates to be printed, I was handed two sizing options and was told to go and measure my own vehicle. Upon returning to the store, one staff member was at the back of the shop, one was one the phone and the other on her phone on WhatsApp. I waited for their attention, I provided the licence number and they proceeded to print the plates at the back of the shop without offering me any options. I paid, then the plates were brought to me and it was poorly done, the numbers were "bleeding" and the CY was spaced so far away from the numbers. I called them out on it and was told that I must pay for a reprint. I pointed out that all the other vehicles had their licence plates properly spaced. Here is where they blamed government and quoted the SANS 1116 guidelines. The SANS 1116 does not state spacing, only licence plate size and letter size. Save yourself some misery and go somewhere , where they value customer service and know what they should fundamentally know, besides giving customers attitude.

Just disgustingly poor service. I'd rate minus 3 stars if I could. Please people, buy your car key cases online and never from a locksmith. I merely came in to price replacement car keys. I then got asked the ridiculous question of what do I mean by replace??? Anyways, I then had both keys taken and without even being given a time-frame or estimate, the keys were then worked on. No regard for whether I had the funds on me or whether I wanted to wait the 30 mins it took. All the while I thought the keys were being assessed so I could then agree on the price and time-frame. I then get slapped with R1100 for everything. The case cost over R600 when I could've sourced my own online for as little as R100 but there was no option for that since I didn't even get and estimate or choice. Nor did I get a receipt. Everything about them is unprofessional and not according to consumer protection act.

Rude service and incompetent people. I bought an original Toyota key from Toyota and went to Master Keys to cut this key, which they said they do. Toyoyta did not have the facility to cut the key. Then Master Keys offered to program the key as well. My plan was to go back to Toyota for the programming. When MK offered, I though OK well I am here let them do it and save time. They were fiddling at the back and eventually came to the front and we went to the car and they had to "marry" the key to the car, which they did not know how to do. They watched YouTube videos trying to figure it out and eventually I stopped them (after 1 hour) because I was running out of time and they could not get the job done. Then they ordered me to pay R980 for "chip and program" which I did not want to pay. They said they had to fit a new chip to the key. They said they will find out the procedure to program and sort out the following day and demanded I pay before leaving the shop. I had no choice but to pay because they did not want to let me go without paying. Long story short I eventually came to the bottom of it all, they removed the original Toyota chip (without notifying me) just to fit an aftermarket chip because the original Toyota chip could not communicate with their programming machine. And then they demanded I pay before I can leave the shop. Also they damaged the original chip in their effort to remove it (which you are not supposed to do) so they could not give back my property. Such rude and unprofessional service from Neil (which I believe is the owner).

Absolutely have to say this company knows what client service means. I had to get a key and I could only collect the key after they closed. They arranged for me to collect the key next door at the video shop. I will ALWAYS go back to someone that puts their customer first. It's the small things that makes a BIG difference.

Rude service. Had a key case replace T R900 and complained telephonically that the case kept opening up. Brought it back as it completely broke within 3 weeks. Owner refused to replace it. Said once something leaves the shop? He does not replace. Please avoid using this business.
