I am sure that the experience on the MSC boat has to be far better than the run around I have been put through trying to move a cruise booked pre covid to a period that I hope with fall outside of covid. MSC did not offer the kind of real flexibility that is needed during a pandemic. Changing a rebooking fee and only offering rebooking for 6 months into the future is really not a solution driven approach. Also the placement of assurances of flexible rebookings on your web site which refer to applicable dates that passed 6 months ago is concerning. After literally hours of fighting across the last few months I am thrilled to say that Sindiswa finally organized the changed to my bookings that I had been asking for. It would however have been so much more pleasant an experience if MSC had not made the entire experience feel like an uphill battle. I am looking forward to my european cruise in June 2022, and I hope that your future clients will have a less stressful and frustrating experience.

Absolutely terrible assistance trying to book a cruise from a voucher. Trying to charge me an extra 11k for an all inclusive voucher. I dealt with an employee initially who incorrectly set up my booking and then avoided all form of contact. I'm now sitting trying to get hold of the call centre (which is currently completely disconnected) for what feels like the millionth time for a cruise leaving on Tuesday.

We had taken our girls on a variety of excursions and a boat cruise was on the wish list so when the opportunity arose, we grabbed it with open hands. It is something that everyone where possible should try to do. We had booked on the MS Opera on one of the Radio station cruises. We didn't mind the music as it was the cruise experience we wanted to give the girls. The only thing that was a bummer was the long wait to board, loading the luggage, passing through the boarding control and again the wait to get the luggage. Everything on board was basically free, 24 hour meals from the takeaways and formal 3 meals from a chosen restaurant. The meals was absolutely divine and the chefs top notch. The only paid item was drinks and that was a bit pricey (but we had smuggled in some cans, so that helped). On boarding we were given a safety drill which was very interesting for the girls as it was their first boat trip. Then after that it was to go and explore, and that was a non-ending experience. There was a kids care/activity room and we could leave our youngest to enjoy herself under supervised guidance whilst we could go view the theater and other entertainment. The girls enjoyed the pool and leisure areas and we either went to watch the live bands or just enjoy. We did not experience any issues with the staff, they were all extremely helpful. My daughters got a tiny bit angry when I got a picture with the Mongolian artist, wanting to know why did they stand so close to me … What was good for me was that I could go workout daily in the well equipped gym. So all the eating I could work off again ... We had a bonus when inclement weather stopped the boat from docking, so we had an extra day in the bay enjoying all the luxuries at no further charge.

My boyfriend bought a voucher for a cruise on the Orchestra leaving from Cape Town for Durban on 21 Jan. He's been in constant contact trying to book for over 3 weeks now and has been given the run around or completely ignored... what shocking service. It's now Thursday evening and the ship leaves on Tuesday- we can't yet feel excited until this can be solved.... what a horrible start to a holiday. The cruise: getting the drinks packages is worth it, though would be nice if they loaded the vouchers on your card and some things are irritatingly not included (eg cant get smoothies with the "non alcoholic drinks" voucher and ice cream on a stick is not included in "cooldrink or icecream" voucher). There are professional photographers all over which is great, but one photo costs around 20 (R200).The dining situation was not what I expected- buffet is very crowded and so are the restaurants- need more waiters perhaps. We're also sure we became ill from the calamari on the last night. Otherwise- great experience! Loved the performances in the evenings, the 80s party was very well done (cross between trivia and disco!), really enjoyed the gym with a view, table tennis and quick putt putt course and salt water swimming pool.

I liked this place because it had a lot of entertainment and even other things that I haven't expected that they could be there.
