Huge variety of genres. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A place to take your time. Visible from Wellington Road. Walking distance away from ample basement parking at the new Durbanville Village Square centre.

Limited Afrikaans section. Overall not bad. Also a games arena on a Saturday afternoon it seems.

I'm actually quite thrilled to have found this little nook of bliss. They have extensive material and the books have these adorable covers that you really won't find in any commercial bookshops (I'm looking at you Arabian Nights). The prices can be a small issue but you can exchange old books and get a slashed offer on any new ones. Definitely worth a visit for any bibliophiles.

Not impressed at all. I phoned in to ask whether they have any books in stock from a short bucket list, and Pat was not able to assist. Nor offered to look into it and phone me back later (as she was too busy with customers). Never experienced that before...

It's now in a small corridor next to a big shop, you need to enter throught the other shop. Much smaller variety than other book exchanges and seems like an afterthought.
