I really enjoy working with Ollava Scuba as a freelance instructor. They cater for their freelancers much like they do for their customers. They care about the quality of service, which helps in providing the same high quality as a dive professional. Rudy runs a friendly shop, offers nice gear and has a passion for diving that translates well to everybody walking through his doors. Whether you're a novice, a holiday diver or a hardcore diver. You'll be welcomed and leave with a smile on your face, eager to share your experience with others.

Super friendly and helpful staff, and chat to Rudy if you need to know anything about scuba, open circuit and CCR.. whether you are new to diving in Cape waters, or already experienced, give them a shout.

Great shop, with awesome people and loads more! Their priorities are service and customer satisfaction regardless of who walks in: novices, regular divers and even professionals. From the first moment it is clear that they are passionate about all things diving, and you are virtually guaranteed a great Cape Town diving experience.

Outstanding experience overall. Friendly and helpful staff; clean, safe and well-maintained gear. They helped me put together a dive trip that fit my interests and abilities, and Mike went the extra mile to be sure it was enjoyable including helping get some great footage of the fur seals. I only wish they had their own souvenir t-shirts - I absolutely would have bought one.

Ollava Scuba is a PADI training centre and dive shop. They stock a good range of scuba equipment and offer lots of interesting shore and boat dives. They are also one of the few places in Cape Town offering technical dives.

Scuba Divers are a funny bunch, we kind of form little groups that will support only their selected dive shop, boat or instructor. I however am not one of those for the most part, I am a bit of a scuba prostitute , I mess around with all the different dive shops, operators, dive boats and instructors. So to cut a long story short ,with all my messing around I happened upon a particular crowd called Ollava who are headed up by a very enthusiastic young man by the name of Rudy. What a delightful character, one seldom finds a person so dedicated to their passion as this man. Rudy is a peoples person, full of energy and excitement, and a damn good diver to boot. All of the folks at Ollava are dynamic and energised, always willing to help. Their rental equipment is absolutely top notch, if fact it makes me quite jealous to see their students better dressed than me in their rental gear. Whether you are into Tec diving or just recreational diving, you've no need to look elsewhere. From regular airfills to Nitrox, from single cylinder rigs to side-mount, Ollava has it all. My son Diron and I were fortunate enough to join Rudy on one of their boat dives to the Boss 400 a little while back and I must admit we were super impressed with 1: the communication wrt setting up the dive, 2: The professionalism of the crew, 3: The condition of the boat and equipment , 4: Safety and 5: Dive briefing at the site. I would consider Ollava to be in the top 3 outfits that operate in Cape Town. I would most certainly recommend Ollava to any of my friends and any tourist that wants to dive. Keep up the good work you are doing Rudy and may your enthusiasm never fade. Visited September 2015
