Do Not do business with Pine Designs!!!! Nigel is the awesome sales man and Abel is the owner. I paid my deposit and was given a delivery date which came and went. I asked Nigel to please give me feedback on my order and was told his boss was as very sorry they had a delay at the factory. So, I waitedI and when calling all numbers available they Never answer them. I went to the address where the business is. WHAT a shock it is nothing like portrayed. I was lucky to get Abel the owner there and demanded my money back. I made him do a eft into my account but he said he never had enough money and would pay me the balance that evening as he was waiting for money to come in. Well till now no money and ducking and diving going on. Stay AWAY FROM PINE DESIGNS AND BARGAIN FURNITURE!!!!!!

Thank you Abel and team! Great service, very easy and I'm very happy with the quality of the product. I ordered a daybed and asked for a storage drawer underneath, painted white. And a week later it was delivered. The delivery guys went to great lengths to put it exactly where I wanted it in the house and even brought some paint with to touch up little black marks from bumps it got coming up the stairwell. I would definitely recommend their services.
They made our Montessori Bed for us in lockdown. It was perfectly done (with a sweet little chimney to boot) and they assembled it for us quickly. It's stunning, and was done in exactly the time they said. They were also super responsive on Whatsapp and are very reasonably priced compared to the more commercial shops.
I'm sitting waiting for my order that was placed in September when I made my first payment cause it was a fairly big order. It's still not yet complete on 03 December at 20:38. I ordered 2 beds, a TV stand and a dining table and had asked for it to be delivered on Friday, 29 November. The 29th came, I wasn't getting any calls as to when I should expect my delivery. At 4:30pm I called to find out if my things were still coming, I was told one of the carpenters didn't show up so my order is not yet complete and will be completed on Monday the 2nd of December. This is an order placed in September and fully paid for. I don't understand why an absent carpenter affected it cause it should have been ready since the beginning of November. On Monday I waited again until 4:30pm, more excuses and the owner was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Today (Tuesday) I decided to drive to the factory because I wasn't convinced that 1, my order will arrive and 2, it will arrive in the way that I'd asked for it to be designed. When I got here, the boss had apparently left 3 minutes ago for a meeting. He KNEW I was coming but still left and never even called to tell me he won't be here when I get to the factory. I've been calling him SEVERAL times, actually started calling yesterday but he doesn't pick up my calls, I tried calling his wife, a child picks up and gives me the good old "daddy's not here" story so I asked where is he, a grown up man picked up the phone but didn't want to say who he was, immediately after that, call ended and phone went off. I am LIVID, the owner of this place is dishonest, has no respect for customers and quite frankly doesn't care. I will NEVER buy anything from here AGAIN EVER.
Guys, please let me know, did anyone of you not get a delivery, or just late and wrong deliveries ? I ordered black friday a queen bed, 2 bed side tables and a custom made cupboard for our gasbottles, Abel was all friendly until I had paid full amount, now he ignores my calls and emails and I feel I am nowhere near delivery. Anyone who got no delivery at all ? Cause if that is the case with me I will go to social media and the police for sure.....
The best service ever!!!. When no one even wanted to try and make the specific bed and underbed for my granddaughter in the few days i had, Abel and his crew committed to make and deliver in three and a half days. Thank you Abel for keeping me updated. I cannot thank you enough. Excellent service and craftmanship. My granddaughter is going to love her dollhouse bed...
Absolutely pathetic customer and after sales service. Communication is non existent up until the time you have paid what you owe then they are quick to communicate. Delivery took place, but I was never asked about the size of my door. Needless to say, the daybed did not fit and is now standing in my garage after patiently waiting. I have asked both father and son to discuss the dismantling and reassembling of the item inside my house. Two days later, still no response despite being told that I would be called after 20 mins two days ago. I will never do business with them again especially since all their reviews here are poor and then their prices aren't even competitive.
Simple pine furniture, it is OK for the price, which is good. Untreated, pretty rudimentary, but functional.
