Firstly when I arrived the one woman there was on the phone then another woman that works there came in from buying stuff at the shop. This was around 6pm. She did not even bother to help me and imstead took another call and packed her food items away. I bought my dog next gaurd and as I was buying and paying I asked the woman what I could use for my cats as our neighbour has so much sand that our cats got sand fleas and she just simply said nothing. She did not recommend me anything or help me with this at all. There was a man next to me filling in some paperwork for his dog and while I was talking to her she started talking to him and helping him .I was not impressed with that at all. I took my product and walked out. I'm extremely disappointed.

I phoned making an enquiry about my dogs serious condition, explained exactly what was wrong with her, enquired about price and if i could bring her in. Receptionist said she'll ask the vet and call me back. That was Monday, today is Wednesday, she's still calling. Took my dog to Ou Kaapse vet, and what excellent service i received.

After they were treating my cat for many years it was terrible to experience that our loved cat together with us had to go through such agony and antagonism. I called in to explain that my pet had to be put down only to get such a cold response from the reception and it took several calls as they kept saying they will call me back which obviously didn't happen. To a point I actually went in and arranged a appointment to make sure my cat doesn't suffer any longer. I had to wait for the following day to get an appointment only to let me know that at the appointed time they will rather call us back. I waited for another 5 hours of not knowing if they gona assist or not. A simple call to another vet had us sorted and ended my pets agony together with ours.

It took me a few days to decide that it was time for my 12 yr old cat to be euthanized. I tried calling the Plumstead Vet to find out the procedure and cost involved. In the morning the lady told me, she'll call me back. By late afternoon I decided to go there myself and find out what's going on. Only to be told she forgot to return my call. Anyway, we made an appointment for the following day at 11am. Next day 11am they called me to inform me that the Dr is running late with a procedure. They'll call me. 12pm I called them to check if they didn't forget about me. They said Dr still busy. Only for them to phone me at 16.30. It was very traumatizing to wait for them while the cat was suffering.

Excellent Vet and great with animals but sad to say the reception staff are extremely rude and impatient which makes one not wanting to return.
