This is pathetic, we have to use the website to chat to a consultant for benifits exct. Consultants are never availible, e-mails is not answered, how do you expect us to assist your members if you can not deliver a service.....While Im typing this I am holding on for someone to pic up the phone seeing that the office hours is "open" now.....going for 15min. Only reason for the 1 star is so i can post this.
It's not an ideal medical aid for young professionals...I'd completely won't recommend it. I feel very sad that I've already recommended them to my colleagues. I struggled during Covid19 lockdown restrictions when most of their staff was working from home, if it was not for someone I knew who is their brand/medical scheme promoter I wouldn't have been helped. Some medical practitioners and medical institutions don't even accept Samwumed as a recognized n trusted medical aid...on number of occasions I had to pay upfront and claim later. I'm very disappointed. I mostly use my medical aid option B for flu medication, the medical aid even restrict you on certain necessary medication that you can take.
samwumed is vey good but can sometimes prolong a query.My granny is member for more than 40years and shes always happy with the outcome results from the staff Thumbs Up

Would not recommend to use this medical aid really not satisfied at all cancelling my membership won't ever rejoin this aid you pay for a service that you will not receive.
