We ordered an Oregon Pine counter top for our bathroom. On collection it turned out that Shabby Chic had only used two out of four panels of Oregon Pine. They promised to rectify and deliver, but they delivered the same counter top. Still waiting for a refund of the deposit. Absolutely terrible experience.

Today my daughters handmade bed was delivered and what a magnificent work of art it is, it even looks better than the picture I initially sent JP. I just want to thank you for what was again a wonderful experience. I was treated with such dignity and respoect by JP and his friend. And what was most astonishing was how everyone managed to create this masterpiece in 3days. It was incredible that they were on time and I am so grateful for that. Thank you for this important service and the high level in which you delivered it.

As the previous comment says JP is not an easy or nice guy to deal with, my experience was very disappointing to say the least. I met with JP to give him references of what I would like made up (2 bed side tables, side table & to repair/stabilise a chair on mine.) Yes, yes no problem, we can do this for you, we discuss dimensions, colour & all the details. Then a two days before my furniture is suppose to be ready he messages me 'what colour do you want your furniture?' Seriously?! Shows in the final product. He would only take a cash deposit, already made me a little apprehensive but wanted to give him a chance, he comes across on the surface as very nice & accommodating person. He would also only take the final payment in cash. I go collect my furniture, the two side tables are so poorly finished, white paint already scuffed, poorly painted, the side table looked so bad, I didn't even take it, the dimensions were wrong & poor workmanship. He completely ruined my chair, ripped the material, got it back filthy from all the saw/wood dust, and the part I wanted him to fix wasn't even fixed properly. Tried to address these issues with JP politely on the phone, he was rude & sarcastic. From my experience I cannot recommend Shabby Chic (JP) on any level. Overall terrible experience and workmanship.

I have been dealing wirh Shabbychic for almost 7 years now and no doubt he will have various problems arise as he only employs the unemployed and obviously will have his fair share of problems, however with all respect I highly recommend JP Shabbychic as all furniture I have ordered over the 7 years has always been tops including the price, notwithstanding the fact he a great guy to do business with...thank you JP for your outstanding service. .

Very rustic and nicely designed but the leg on my couch came loose after 2 months and it's going to cost a lot to repair it they dont want to fix it
