Snoekies, it was my second time to visit this restaurant and must admit that the service has improved quite a lot from the last time I visited. There is a little play group for the kids on the upstairs which makes it exceptionally easy for families to visit, and let kids play before or after the meal. The place is well taken care of and sanitized as well. The service was excellent, the staff members are well equipped to serve customers with a great attitude. It was great to visit and value for the money.

Lovely Sunday fish and chips at good ol Snoekies. Food was good. Service was good. Friendly staff. On point manager's. Will definitely be back. Food came out nice and fast for a busy Sunday!

Excellent fish n chips. We bought hake fried in crispy batter .crumbed calamari snoek and prawns with chips and buns. Was all awesome. Tasted good and fresh. Service was fast as well . Place was buzzing .seating for over 200 patrons if not more. I would go back again.

Snoekies never disappoints. Good quality food consistently. Over counter sales so one should not have any great expectations in terms of friendliness etc. Simply transactional in my opinion. Gets a bit crowded over weekends and holidays but COVID-19 protocols in place in store. Ample secure parking outside which gives them an advantage over the competition in the area.

Taking a drive Hout Bay is not something I do very often, but I do I make a point to go and get fish and chips from Snoekies. As a child I remember my uncle taking the whole family to Snoekies to get fish and chips and 30 years later. . . It never disappoints! The fish is fresh, the calamari is soft and tender and the chips are fried golden brown and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good food at reasonable prices. The harbour is also an amazing site, with up close and personal encounters with the neighbourhood seals. Some of them are so tame you can actually touch them, as seen in picture. YES THAT'S ME TOUCHING A SEAL. Really amazing and scenic drive as well. . . Good for a Sunday drive and family time. . .
