This is a place where the whole family can come and enjoy the day or just a few hours the tidal pool offers enjoyment for young and old where the parents have a clear view of children at all times security officers are always on duty and visible to give you peace of mind. The lifeguards are also on duty for that extra added peace of mind in case anything should go wrong in the water. We always prefer to go late afternoon when the crowd starts thinning and most people are preparing to head who has been there for most of the day. The changing huts also gives you the privacy to change into a thing gear in the event you did not put them on at home. Now that is summer coming to an end very quickly feel free to come and spend a few hours with the family and enjoy with peace of mind. Hope everyone has a good time at St James soon.

Beautiful tidal pool and lovely sandy beach. Life guard on duty. Colorfully painted change rooms that do need a face-lift especially after some were damaged badly by fire started by vagrants.
Nice location - fairly busy pool .... nice and close enough Kalk bay for a drink afterwards

Beautiful, well-maintained tidal pool, colourful beach huts, big enough for exercise, shallow enough on one end for kids. Beautiful setting. Today the water was a bit murky because of high winds and rough seas from the last few days.
