I visited the station yesterday in order to get some documents and a lady could not assist me. However, when I went again today to try- a lovely gentleman was able to help me and did so in such a smooth and respectful manner and got me my documents. He was very polite and kind and did not use his authority to make me seem small. Thank you for helping me see my ill mother !

Went there to get certificates certified at around 18h00 on a weekday, I did not have to wait at all, the office helped me promptly and certified all my documents quickly without issue. They seemed friendly enough. I noted on the wall, that they do not certify more than 10 copies. So thats handy info, and also the DFO is not located here anymore, they are at the parklands station.

I just left the police station in tears as the officer sitting outside on 18 November 2020 at 13:30pm (white officer) actually blamed me as the victim of theft and made jokes about my case for the amusement of his colleague and they actually laughed at me. He offered no assistance either and sent me on my way. I am actually disgusted and I understand why people don’t trust the police. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. This man turned my trauma into a joke and actually laughed in my face. Utterly disgusting.

usually I do not write reviews on places but this was absolutely horrible. Not only did I wait about an hour and a half just to get assisted but when I finally got my turn it was brief. The officer asked me what my purpose was, I explained that I need a commissioner of oath to sign off documents but was quickly stopped in my mid sentence with an abrupt: We cannot sign printed documents..... I politely asked why and she literally gave me a blank stare and continued to assist people behind me in the row. An absolute terrible example.

I just visited the Tableview police station and had the worst experience ever. I got there and there was no one sitting at the desk placed just outside the door to the station. As they have all the public documents on desk i started filling out the affidavit form as I was there for that. one of the public servants came out and was so rude, his name as written on the form “A Van der Merve”. only because after cleaning my hands with the hand sanitizer, and with a mask on I started completing the form as there was no one there when I arrived. My issue is that I apologized for my wrong doing, and he kept being rude telling me that he does not want my apologies, I remained calm in all of this... he continued to be rude to say that we are all adults i must speak louder whilst conversing with him regarding my reason for being there, mind you there is two other people in the que, as if what i’m there for is everyone’s business, he continued to say that the face mask can come off as i must speak louder. This kind of behavior is so unacceptable in this day and age. I felt so humiliated by this man, then after he heard the name of the company I used to work for seemed to wanna make small talk. The Minister of the police will definitely hear about this as we are all citizens in this country and all deserve the same kind of respect and fair treatment, no matter the color of our skin, standard of living or economic status, when we visit our public institutions for assistance.

I have had to go twice to get travel permits, the wait outside took a while but staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. So nice to go to a Government institution and have such good service, I have had dealings with other police stations before and none by any means come close to Table view. Police station Captain van der Heever is helpful and goes out of his way to help clients.

The officer sitting at the front door was so unprofessional and rude, not only to myself but to other members of the public. Told someone a sergeant wasn't there when he was literally around the corner of the building. I needed to do an affidavit, she hardly acknowledged me and when we asked her a question she told us to stop asking questions, she is trying to concentrate and we must just wait in line. Yet she had the affidavit forms on her table and wouldn't acknowledge that we needed one.
