This has been my Doctor for 4 years and words cannot describe the passion this woman has for her work and patients , she's very caring and knowledgeable, I feel like my words are not enough you have to meet this warm hearted doctor to see what I am talking about. Thank you so much for being the amazing Doctor/person you are.

This is NOT a medical doctor but someone who converted to alternative medicine. After only a short conversation i was diagnosed with "leaky gut" and celiac disease and prescribed vitamins pills (that she conveniently was selling) and herbs to help my symptoms, as well as recommending fad diets. She uses her MD title, but nowhere in her advertising does it clarify that she offers non-scientific treatments, thus not allowing patients the chance to make an informed decision before waiting for an appointment for 5 months like I did. I was charged a fortune for some pseudo scientific advise that anyone with a bit of sense in their mind would know would have absolutely no effect on real hormonal issues. I really thought that doctors would be better informed and more genuinely caring, but I guess it is just a sinister way of making money out of peoples hopes and fears.

I came to see Tanya after waiting for almost 6 months for the appointment. Having only just started to describe my situation, I was swiftly diagnosed with 3 new conditions and nutritional deficiencies - this was somehow established by Tanya without conducting lab tests or finishing taking my medical history. Absurdly, one of these conditions is not even recognized as a real ailment but is purely hypothetical, used often in naturopathic jargon. Apparently the only way to manage this was to go on a controversial fad diet. She eagerly introduced me to her range of nutritional supplements that I “needed”. For my chronic hormonal condition I’ve had for 12 years, I was to take a herb. Aside from the scaremongering, guess work diagnostics and the dubious holistic marketing, she might have been nice to talk to. I shared from my personal experience extensively, but ultimately her empathy extended only as far as her own nutritional vitamin supplements could be applied. She might have been a medical doctor in the past, but when I came to see her she certainly wasn’t practicing medicine but something more like faith healing. I feel as if I could have received the same level of credibility in “health" advice at Gwyneth Paltrows Instagram page: pop culture wellbeing myths which can so easily be debunked. Bottom line: If you need a serious approach to a medical ailment, you'll be wasting your money and time, possibly putting yourself in danger too as these herbs can have contraindications with the pharmaceuticals you might be taking. Not to mention the general ignorance to the real medical issues that you came to get help with.

10/10 I am so pleased with Dr Tania Kinvig. She is one doctor that truly takes the time to get down to the bottom of any issue. Three days after having my appointment, she checked my blood results, gave me feedback and wrote a script. One of the friendliest and efficient receptionists I have come across in a while :)
