APPALING AND DREADFULL AFTER SALES SERVICE. Fantastic company when you are spending your money there, I am SHOCKED in the service when you have a problem with a product. I bought an Assasin Equinox rod from The Fishing Specialist, in under a year ago, the rod is still in warranty. The Rod broke in 3 different places while casting, I took the rod in to the store so it can be sent to the supplier and assessed . This was on a Friday , they advised they will give me feedback on Tuesday, Tuesday had come and gone no word from any of the sales consultants or manager , after several calls to the store nobody could give me an answer as to when the supplier will come collect it, almost 2 weeks later I call them and they tell me the IFHISH REP FROM ASSASSIN(SHAUN) will come assess the rod. he has now assessed the rod and told me they will replace the tip, yet i will have to pay for the mid section and have the butt end of the rod repaired . I cannot believe that the supplier had given this answer based on the assessment. I would never recommended the Assasin Rods to anybody. The guys in the store who all agreed with me that this is a fault with the rod has now turned there backs on me as a client and says there is nothing they can do to help. I am APPALLED with the bad customer service you receive when you have an issue, after 10 years of shopping there I will never return. a word of advise to the fishing specialist team, you are only as great as your after sales service.

Not a very friendly guy... Even over the phone he sounds arrogant.. But the prices is good..

They always have stock of every item I've ever wanted. Slightly more expensive than your local store but it has it all. Staff are always eager to help and come and ask you if you need assistance and that's really what matters when choosing items. Good supply of large local caught chokka.
