Never wanted to leave this beautiful house but I’m really inspired by my experience. The lay-out was perfect up to the cosmetics to the smallest detail... The entire house catered well for all our needs. The facilities to atmosphere to the location suited us perfect.. Thank you so much Jane and her partner for this opportunity.... Awesome getaway Guest house, way better than the photo's. Didn't expect everything one needs from shampoo to spices to pegs etc to be provided. More than enough towels , even a washing machine. Parking for 4 cars. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas, just a pity it wasn't hot as the pool's heater is dependent on solar heating. We experienced loadshedding twice in a day during our stay, would have appreciated a backup generator - only 1 torch provided. The wifi was a bit unstable so some of my guests had to go home as they had to login for work and they lost 3 days of their holiday. All in all everything was spotless and all of us had a few WOW! moments especially when we saw the bathrooms. Thank you for a memorable stay, would highly recommend The Only One for your staycation!
20 Batten Bend is a stylish open plan living space. It's light & airy , spacious & comfortable. Jane’s design & thoughtful touches show throughout the house. We loved the heated pool and the airconditioner in the main space. The house is centrally located with the beach not far away. Cape Town's attractions are a 20 minute drive away. Shops are within an easy walking distance. I Cannot recommend this stay enough.
Amazing Host! Amazing House! Amazing Pool! Everything is brand new and absolutely gorgeous 5 STARS!! Safe, friendly neighbourhood, close to all the shops, restaurants and anything you need and 5 mins drive to the beach!!! We had the best weekend! Can't wait to go back! Thanks Jane for your beautiful home and making us feel so welcome!
Honestly the best Airbnb ever. Firstly the hosts were more than accommodating. They were there every step of the way from the time you book your appointment right up until you leave. You can already feel that excitement brewing and trust me the hype is real. I was astonished knowing you literally only need to bring food. they have thought of almost every single one of your needs from toiletries, to the fire place and the list goes on. I cannot describe how amazing the place is and how well the place is taken care of. all the small touches they have thought of to give it that finishing touch which honestly rivals holiday destinations in cape town. I would go to this place anyday over goudini, avalon springs, club myknos and the list goes on. thank you for the best few days I have had in a while I won't forget this holiday destination and will most certainly come back again. If this place gets a jacuzzi I might have to consider putting an offer in for the house to move here permanently as it is that good. thank you to the owners for such an amazing holiday and I look forward to sharing many more stays in the future
Phenomenal holiday home!!! Beautiful, neat, stunning pool, bathrooms like no other you have ever seen! Jane and Gavin are incredible hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. I highly recommend this house for your CT stay and we can't wait to come back!!!!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our mini holiday escape to The Only ONE @ 20 Batten bend. Jane- the host is so easy to communicate with, everything is up to standard and attention to detail is impeccable. I would highly recommend a stay over and would definitely go back.
