What can I say.......Claremont VW, you guys are "Simply The Best"
After 12 years of dedicated service & 2 vehicles from VW Claremont, I will never take my car back here again! After returning to the usual Mark Ahrends the service advisor making snide remarks to his colleague as soon as I walk in, he then stops turns to greet me as if he hasn’t just bad mouthed a client, to talk about my service. After spending a combined R30k on both my VW’s here the very next day one vehicles battery failed as if it was swapped out during the service. Then electrical issues started with door locks and windows of a 2013 model with 85000kms on the clock, these issues began literally a day after the service!. The alignment for both vehicles was a paid extra. It was not done. I returned the vehicles. Mark assured me alignment and other issues were sorted out and both cars were driving skew for another reason. The following day both vehicles were perfectly aligned in one hour at Supaquick. This recent experience after years of faith to VW Claremont not only put me off servicing, but put me off Volkswagen as a brand. Overpriced cars with poor electronics getting worse year by year, shoddy service, disrespectful staff, over loaded rushed rip off services. Support another car brand. I will never buy Volkswagen again.
Excellent service, helpful staff with smile and respect... This was my review in September but I realized at the beginning of December, the service was not that excellent. I do not think i will go to this branch any more.
I have never experienced such amazing service from any car dealership in my life! The staff are amazing, super helpful and a huge thank you to Eleta and Ben. Do yourself a favour and choose VW Claremont for that next purchase you wont regret it!!!
