The day was a stunning day out. I can definitely recommend it. Good food, good vib but only one thing the masseuse could have been n little more gentle and react to the person under her hands. All in all a 4.5 experience.

Booked a Camfeboo Full Body massage for a special occasion on a Saturday.... was supposed to be an hour long... arrived at 10:45 like we were supposed to... waited until 11:20 before BEING CALLED TO GET THE TREATMENT. Treatment was finished at 12:10.... so I payed R1080 for just over half an hour. Camdeboo refuses to refund me for their poor service and on emails I have sent we as adults are being referred to as kids... a 50year old male and a 30 year old female referred to as kids??? Such a dissapointment.
The setting of this spa is one of the most beautiful and relaxing I have ever been to. With the prices that are charged you expect a very professional therapist - had a back neck and shoulder massage. The therapist leaned over me by my head to rub my back. And pushed against my head.There was no flow to the massage. It was as if my back was just being massaged randomly everywhere for 30 minutes. Feels like I just wasted R680.

We had a really relaxing morning, using the sauna, sensation showers and steam room. Followed by lunch. The back neck and shoulder massage is not the style that I like. The use their arms alot and not their hands, lots of repetition too. But my husband loved it, so depends on what style you prefer. They made our morning pretty special by surprising us with a slice of cake as it was my husbands birthday. Special touch.
I was very disappointed. This spa is over priced for what you get! For the price of a pedicure, they gave me an option of about 7 colours of nail polish? Surely you can invest in better quality and more diverse options? I phoned 3 times to make sure my booking was correct! It was a surprise for my sister's 40th birthday, but nobody wished her a happy birthday except the waiter later the day. I ordered champagne and cake over the phone with my booking and I asked SO MANY times if it will be fine, BUT when we got there, no alcohol was allowed to be served!!! I don't know why, as restaurants can now serve alcohol (this was the 22 of August). Why didn't they tell me over the phone!!! We then had to order coffee and waited so long for them to arrive, they were ice cold by the time we got them. The treatments were good, just lacking in some basic "finishing" touches, like a blanket, as I was cold. I don't know how this spa has won awards! Come time for payment and the Reception still didn't know what treatments we got and had to check. I maxed the amount I could pay on my card and then offered to pay the balance in cash. She then said they don't take cash.... Nobody said this to me over the phone. My sister then had to pay the rest on her card on her birthday!! I was embarrased! Why wasn't an EFT suggested to me. Very unprofessional!! The only positive points were the therapists themselves and the waitress who didn't charge for the coffees as she could see how upset we were with the service.
The treatment was very good. The room floor was very dirty. No towel for after shower and no completion of a medical form upfront.
Awesome staff, lovely vibe, nice packages for all. Only problem we had with our couple package is no one telling us where we were going and when, after our massage, we were kinda just left hanging and had to ask around where to go next (for the champagne and platter) that was part of our package. But we found out eventually and had a nice relaxing evening sipping champagne and enjoying the relaxation of our beautiful surroundings. Nice and neat place too.
