Dear Checkers This weekend was my daughter's 7th birthday and it was a huge success and in no small part thanks to you. The croissant platters and fresh fruit were delicious!!! They were gobbled up so quickly. Normally the kids do not eat a thing. It was Fairy themed party and everything i needed to make my Fairy wonderland I bought from your store, even her outfit. The ladies by the party section were so helpful, professional and kind and the most unbelievable thing.... our helium balloons still look like the day we bought them! It has been three days!!! Usually normal helium balloons are drooping by the next day. Not yours. We sent them to school. The next day we used them at her party. Yesterday we used them when the family came over. They were in the sun all day and this morning I was surprised to find them still absolutely perfect. They bring such joy and birthday vibes. Lastly I want to thank all the staff, with special mention to all the managers who were so helpful and genuinely excited to help us make our little girl's day perfect. You have a huge busy store and yet you were able to take the time to deliver the personal touch. Thank you. It is deeply appreciated. You reminded me of why we are loyal Checkers customers.

Massive store. Relaxed vibe and great selection of cheeses. Good wine selection too. The coffee selection may not be as vast as advertised but at least I managed to get my Guatemala Coffee. Hot food selection could be better too but it's still decent. Greek Salad was sold at a decent price. Great Checkers.

Prices are consistently incorrect: price on shelf is NOT what you pay at till. I went to this store today and remembered why I stopped shopping here. Woolies is more expensive, but at least you can trust them

I have shopped at checkers hyper for years. No complaints. But past few months its been appalling. Three sets of rotten meat. And I have to limit my shop visits so cant keep going back to replace it. Expired products... on "special" when you get home you realise its because the Best Before date has past already. Shame.on you checkers. You say you are saving us over a billion rand with your savings system but are you really ?! Cheating us really by selling us expired rotten food !

Absolutely disgusting. Second time I have gone to do shopping and left without buying anything due to a large amount of veg being moldy and completely non edible. Never going back.

The shop has very good produce, there are a variety of products to chose from making it a good shop to do your groceries. I also did not have to wait long in a que the staff was quite fast so I would recommend it.

Honestly the worst checkers in the region. I the staff are rude. I have to jump out the way for the 60 60 stuff that are running there way though the isles. Always a long que but the is always a group off stuff standing around talking to each other.
