First impressions are lasting. I had queried various costs which were not mentioned to me over the phone after scheduling time in my hectic day. Such costs were charges for repeat scripts, pmb forms when you need chronic medication, motivational letters - the last time I checked these were doctors duties. This was charged in addition to the absolutely high consultation fee which I had mentioned to the doctor would not be reimbursed by medical aid. Her response, "this is my policy, find another rheumatologist". In my opinion, that's a doctor who has no compassion who is willing to turn a patient away who is Dire need for treatment and only cares about money. Further her secretary is absolutely rude and incompetent in her behavior and work ethic. Rather go doctors who actually understand what its like to care about patients and not just stress them out.
