Absolutely amazing collection of huge exotic trees. Great space for Avatar nostalgia. Tree labels need some attention. An info package would also help, I googled tree names until my phone died...

We had a very nice time at the garden and this is mostly due to the tour guide Vishnu. He has such a great personality and was very nice to our very talkative and full of questions son. He even showed us a tree that has the same name as our sun and took beautiful pictures of us. We didn’t know much about flora but he explained very well as well as the history of the garden and we left with new knowledge. Keep it up!

My visit to the Botanic Gardens on Thursday 1 April 2021 was absolutely enjoyable. Vishnu, the Tour Guide was incredible! He is very passionate about his job. His friendly, professional and knowledgeable personality, enabled my friend and I to thoroughly enjoy the experience. I shall certainly visit the Botanical Gardens again.

Wonderful, well-kept, clean, safe and a stunning day out. Highly recommended. Take the golf cart shuttle tour to save your legs, or get your step-counters going.

Excellent place to visit. Clean. Gardens beautiful with good bird life. However they need to get the tea garden going again and open some of the locked facilities. Come on ethekwini Municipality spend a bit of cash on the public please

For starters, entrance is free! Very well maintained and clean. Lovely place in the city to relax, have a picnic or talk a walk with your dog. The yearly Lights in the garden is superb.
