A beautiful place to walk, relax and bask in the sun while enjoying a stunning view of the beach and the new Point Waterfront. I prefer to park at and walk through Ushaka, it's sometimes difficult to find a good parking nearby however it makes a chilled Sunday stroll even better.

Nice and clean,very quiet during covid.
Very nice promenade, beach and facilities. Lovely to walk from Ushaka to North point and view Durban city and the ships coming in. Safe for family and awesome for kids to ride bikes etc. Plenty of parking and access to the beach and ocean for swimming.
Looks great only problem is I can see the building is starting to deteriorate... Only a year old and already have cracks on the ground and supporting walls.
New promenade and surrounding areas are exceptionally beautiful and worth exploring. While the promenade is full of life and people, the waterfront walkways just behind are quiet and peaceful. Look out for fish and hammerhead sharks in the water :)

Lovely place to cycle. The promenade starts from blue lagoon to the entrance of the harbour.
