From start to finish the Rossburgh staff were fantastic. The driver’s license renewal orientation was well presented and we clear on the documentation needed. The staff was helpful and friendly and we could scarcely believe the service we received. There is yet hope for our country where service delivery is so poor - take bow Rossburgh Testing Ground and keep up these standards. Grateful to have come to you.

I Must Admit That I Was Very Impressed With Their Customer Turn Around Time.

I renewed my drivers license this morning and as an elderly person the service was very pleasant and expedient. There are separate queues at each stage for the elderly and the help and guidance from the staff on duty was excellent. Well done Rossburgh.

Renewing your driver's license at Rossburgh Licensing Department. To renew your license you must have:- - R250 - Pen - Eye test - ID Book (not just a photocopy) - Drivers license - Proof of Address - Lots of patience To get a temporary license you must have:- - R90 - 1 ID Photo - Plus everything above When you go, ignore all the queues and go directly to the security guard at the gate. He will tell you which queue to join. Each queue, there are 3 of them, is about an hour and a half to two hours wait, if it's not too busy. I had about 25 people in front of me. I got there at 8am, after dropping my child off at school, and got home at 1pm. Ensure that when you get your green form, which you have to fill in sections A, B and D, that you also get your ticket with your number on. It is incredibly slow. Follow the queues. Have lots of patience and make friends with the other people in the queue. I can guarantee that someone in there needs a smiling face to help them get through that ordeal. If you do not get your eye test done beforehand, there is an "optometrist" across the road, who will do an eye test for you for R50. If you need photographs, there is a kiosk inside the grounds who do photographs for R40 (for 2), and also sells R5 pens. I will say, the whole process was very organised, everyone was very helpful, and the grounds themselves were very clean (no strange smells wafting around). It just took soooooooo long. It was like time had stood still.

PHENOMENAL!! Drivers Licence RENEWAL. Well oiled and fine funed systems to be found T Roseburg Testing Station KZN. Temp licence on hand 2 hours from mandatory COVID batches of 20 admitted per session. EFFICIENCY unsurpassed by ANY previously experienced Govt Department. This is an EXCELLENT example for ALL Depts in SA to follow.. Thanks to a number of people I encountered that day - you made a rather usually mundane and frustrating time wasting event into an INSPIRATIONAL need to share and encourage others to follow!! I requested permission to photograph and document my experience... see and watch.. well if I could select multiple images from an album already prepared you COULD see and watch.. if I resolve.. pics will follow !! Overall EXCELLENT GOOD SERVICE!!

Went smoothly . Collection is relatively fast. Eye testing can be done across the road (R70) . R150 to book for learners. Very organised but a bit slow . Not a bad experience. Booked for my learners . Arrived at 8 left at 12 .

It has been great that they haven been open over the weekends. The staff are friendly and do try of the best to make an unpleasant event that little bit more tolerable. Unfortunately the systems let them done which is beyond their control.
