For a small museum it had some interesting items. Oldest fish and oldest human footprints and of course the only known dodo egg in existence. I wonder if they can clone DNA from it? The staff was very helpful. Toilets D no paper towels.
If you enjoy history, this is the place to go to. It is a lot bigger than expected.

Great museum to Visit. Winchester castle round table replica. This table was carried on the Union Castle liner "Winchester Castle" 1930-1953 and was presented to the Association of Round Tables of Southern Africa by the Director when this old vessel was sent to the ship breakers in 1961. Currently stored at the Museum in East London.
Surprisingly delightful. Cool and rare artifacts and antiquities. Never busy because people Netflix nowadays.
I grow up coming here so could be nostalgia but I like the fact that there aren't actually tour guides although there are labels on everything so your choice
Love the museum but due to covid they're closed.
