Really great service...our lawnmower was making a horrid noise. First thing they did was switch the mower on...immediatly they told us it's the blade which was replaced on the spot and then tightened the motor as well. Took all of 5 minutes...no hassle no booking in of the machine. I recommend the place for all and any mower repairs!!

A small business offering great old school service. My mower was serviced quickly after quote was requested first. A very pleasant experience and will return if and when necessary

Avoid having your generator repaired at Mower and Tool. They irreparably damaged the slip ring lug of my 2.5 kW generator. I took my generator to them because it was not idling. After it was returned to me, to prevent the petrol from clogging the carburetor again, I decided to run the generator once a week. The first time that I ran the generator (with no load) the voltage on the volt meter fell away 15 mins after starting the engine. I took it back to Mower and Tool and was told that the windings are burnt because the generator was overloaded. They denied that they had opened the armature, but I reminded them that I had seen the generator stripped completely (which they had done to replace the governor arm). I then took the generator to another generator repairer and they found that one of the slip ring lugs had been broken off and that the windings were not burnt as claimed by Mower and Tool.
