Amazing facilities but the air-con's always switched off inside the movies and it gets boiling hot. Spoke to management of Baywest and asked to turn it up with no avail. Happens every time we go there.

Over R100 for a 3D movie and over R140 for IMAX, excluding the glasses! The ticket prices are almost as laughable as the food/drinks prices at a SterKinekor... R25 for a box of Smarties?! R35 for a 650ml drink?! Instead of just going for a 30% or 40% mark-up on the food/drinks, you guys went ALL OUT ZUMA and decided that a 300% mark-up is a good idea... and then you tell people they can't bring their own food/drinks from outside into the cinema?! What's the difference between outside food/drinks and yours? Apart from the fact that yours costs 300% more, of course. EDIT: And today I went there, and there were 8 commercials and only 4 trailers before the movie... meaning there was more time given to ads than to trailers... that's the final straw: I'm changing my review to a 1star review until something changes at this Sterkinekor. You guys are making literally tens of MILLIONS of rands with ticket sales and food/drinks already, so why do you have to get greedy and place 7minutes of ads in front of a movie? You greedy and you don't care about the customers one-single-bit!
The staff deliver speedy service and pay great attention to the cleanliness of the theater. I love the IMAX, especially watching mid afternoon shows when It’s quiet and I selfishly get to have the entire room for myself! This branch has a very neat and updated interior/ modern design and up to standard technology systems for a great show!.
Good clean sanitized environment. Staff helpful and friendly. Social distancing good.
