What a perfect campsite! We have now been traveling for five months through Europe and Africa and it’s the first time our three kids said they could spend the rest of the year here . Wendy and Ian are wonderful hosts and always happy to help us out, the twin rivers offer all kinds of swimming (a rapid, rock pools, cooler water) and we met amazing people during our stay.

Lovely getaway spot in a serene environment where kids can play, swim, cycle and fish to their heart's desire. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the two solar geysers and six showers were not sufficient to service a fully booked camp terrain, and we were never able to take a warm shower. Other than that, enjoyable experience altogether.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing place. The owners is very kind and beautiful beautiful people. Overall Greyton is a quaint little town and a must to stay over for a weekend.

What an amazing weekend. Wendy and Ian are the most amazing hosts. River was awesome. Ablution basic but clean. Campsite was clean. No electricity but was aware that is off the grid, helps with the serenity. No loud music. I will definitely return. Pet friendly. Most spots away from each other, so you can enjoy privacy.

Wendy was very prompt and helpful in her response to my inquiry about spending a couple of nights at the Twin Rivers Campsite. I planned to arrive early on a Sunday, and leave my car to explore. She was more than happy to let me park within the campgrounds, provided I did my best to keep the noise down as it was Sunday after all! After my exploring, I returned late afternoon and was welcomed by Wendy, her husband, and their dogs. I had pretty much the whole campground to myself, and picked a nice spot that was near their house, and secluded from the wind. Wendy was very friendly, and shared her knowledge of the area. The campgrounds are located where the Gobosriver and Riviersonderend River meet, and is accessed by a dirt road suitable for all vehicle types. It is near enough town to be convenient, but out of town enough to allow you to escape in nature. The bubbling rivers can be heard wherever you are on the grounds, and there are various places to walk along the river, or park off on a bench to soak up the view. The ablutions were clean, well-equipped, and the solar showers hot with good water pressure! There is also a kitchen-type area for you to wash your dishes (or even cook in with your camp stove if the weather is really miserable!). If you don't have a mattress, they have a variety of mattresses available for hire. They are clean, in good condition, and comfortable! Next time I can get away to Greyton, I will be sure to camp here.

Excellent location, easy access to town, but not in Greyton. Facilities are a bit rustic, but clean. There could be some more effort in watering the grass and the animal camp at the entrance looks like a complete mess. The river however is very nice, adults and kids enjoy the rapids and there are shallow quiet areas for toddlers. Sites are big and well spaced, most have some degree of shade. Bring your own drinking water, no electricity. Pet friendly, so there are ussually a few doggies around.

Camping is amazing here. There is access to water and ablution blocks as well as a river for fishing and swimming. Great experience and great hosts.
