Loads of variety and good food. Get there early or you could wait a while for your meal which is worth the wait !! Elizabeth was great. Other reviews say it is dated in appearance and they are right but I think it adds to the ambience of the place. As a techie, I saw working CRT computer monitors for the first time in 8 years. More concerning, they still use Windows XP!! Please update your hardware - you are so at risk!!

Not even one star......this was a terrible experience. Not Pick a Pancake anymore. They were seriously under-staffed with an overload of customers. But something should be done to preserve the once popular Pick n Pancake and the good name it had

I had the mince and cheese filled pancake with the bar one and ice cream filled pancake for dessert.. simply define! Great service. Friendly staff in the little flee market as well. I didn't like all the people in the parking area trying to corner my family and I trying to sell us things from when we arrived and again when we departed. I felt very unsafe as 5 of them rush up to you as soon as they see you.

Great food and vibe.. Can't go to the harties area without visiting this little dime of a restaurant. Situated on one of the main roads makes it slightly tricky to find parking but there's a little market right next door to walk through and find some local gifts. Best pancakes and waffles around and definitely recommend this place before your trip home

We were the only people there on a Friday afternoon. Nice waitress but only had 1 vege pancake on the menu (spinach and feta) and they had no spinach. 2 cinnamon and sugar pancakes R25! One of them burnt. How the hell does a pancake restaurant BURN a pancake . Wont be going back

AWFUL service, AWFUL food. To start with, the waitress took our order wrong and when we asked whether the waffles were premade or cooked on site before we even ordered, she told us it was made fresh. After ordering a caramel and banana waffle, and waiting thirty minutes for it, the waffle arrived with maple syrup and melted ice cream: apparently the caramel sauce was finished but I would still end up paying for the more expensive option. From the one bite I had, the waffle was rubbery and cold, and definitely not made fresh. When I complained, I got an angry response from an impatient staff. Refusing to pay, I looked around me at the other patrons and all had left some of their food uneaten. Very disappointed in the experience. Don't waste your time.
