Beautiful place but have more power outage problems the escom. Almost been 5 years if not more and still cannot get the power outage problems fixed in this estate. Really are a huge problem!

Simply the most heavenly place to raise children, to live safely in wide open spaces, immeasurable beauty and in a friendly community.. the best residential and lifestyle estate out there!
Really a lovely estate with airstrip, waterfront, a very nice restaurant and good security. Peaceful and quiet. The down side is there are a lot of electricity outages! Recently for 32 hours. Sometimes Eskoms fault and sometimes the Coves. Amost without fail everytime it storms.
Very relaxed atmosphere. It is very dark at night with various animal sounds during both the night and day. This helps to enjoy a high quality of sleep during the night and to feel relaxed during the day. Good facilities with 4 swimming pools (2 x kiddies size and 2 being bigger). Play ground for the children, and various recreational activities and facilities (runway for personal aircraft, docking facilities for boats ect.). The Estate is extremely safe regarding crime and also in terms of providing a safe haven for children to play in the streets. This is accomplished by having good gate control (scanning licence disk and drivers licence) and enforcing strict speed limits (you can actually be fined by driving faster than 30km/h. Most of the inhabitants are friendly and the estate has a homey feel because of this. It feels a lot like what South Africa used to be.
Exclusive Estate in Hartbeespoort. The Coves is American Farmstyle and has its own private runway. Clubhouse, squash courts, tennis courts and communal pools. Stunning place to live!
