By far the best gym around. The location is mint from the staff, to the equipment, to the facility itself as well as the vibrant atmosphere. From the ownership, to management, to the trainers, who are by far the nicest and most knowledgeable in the business today. A wide range of supplements and the greatest choice of music. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gym & Fitness to anyone. I am certainly satisfied thus far and have been blown away by my experience at this awesome facility.

This is a fantastic gym!! All the trainers are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at. It has the best energy, staff and feel. I highly recommend Gym and Fitness Merrivale.

I travel from PMB to Howick every day to train here. Whether its fitness, health and wellness or you just want to lift heavy, this is truly a hidden gem. Situated in the undercover parking so its not in the way of the shoppers and not as overcrowded as the other household branded gyms. The owner is always around with a wealth of knowledge regarding anything fitness related. Visit the gym and find out about the different, yet extremely affordable, payment options.

Excellent, gym facility! Loaded with the latest gym equipment, as well as sufficient free weights. It's an absolute pleasure making the drive from Pietermaritzburg to Merrivale. Once you step into the gym, the atmosphere gets your mind focused for a great workout experience. A gym that must be visited if you're from out of town. Well done to Deshin Naidoo for getting this gym up to a standard that's really difficult to match around here. Keep it up and God bless.
