We did a 20 day camping trip/self drive safari to Botswana. Oct/Nov 2018. We started in Johannesburg. We rented a 2018 Toyota Hylux diesel Pick up/safari vehicle from Bushtrackers. The vehicle was amazing, all top notch name brand gear. A 2nd, totally necessary fuel tank. We drove long distances with no chance for fuel. The kitchen and storage layout in the bed of the truck were very well thought out. The tent and the refrigerator worked great in some extreme conditions. Some of the 4x4 roads were very tight with thorn bushes. We could not help but hit some, making some scratches. There was no extra charge. All in all they were fair and good to deal with. Their price was the best I could find. I would recommend them

Our experience with Bushtrackers was very good. We had a modern vehicle kitted out with everything needed for our family adventure. The service was friendly and professional and all at a very reasonable price. Recommended!

We rented a Hilux double cab for our trip from Johannesburg through Botswana and Namibia back to JNB. We have done 7600 km, mostly on gravel roads and through parks and we can only recommend the Bushtrackers. Car was excellent, our average consumption was 10.4 liters with 2.4 l TDI engine considering that we drove mostly on gravel with many sandy and rocky stretches including Central Kalahari, Moremi, Chobe, Khowarib schlucht, Palmwag concession and Kgalagadi. Heather was great help with our itinerary and came up with many recommendation for our trip. We would definitely do another trip with Bushtrackers.

I have rented many vehicles over the years from Bushtrackers. Only received reasonable rates. Good service. Great vehicles and ewuipment. Can really recommend them. Sitting here waiting to pick up my next rental and then off to Botswana and Mozambique.

Vehicle was OK, customer service terrible. We got charged for things we didn't damage (we informed Bushtrackers within 2 hours after picking up the vehicle about a damage on the tent and still had to pay for it). Empty promises about management feedback.
