It's been an amazing 12 weeks Claudia makes the lessons practical and gives you the understanding of how the language works so that you can get more from future self study and keep improving. I was always frustrated by the lack of explanation when using language apps and audio courses as to why words change in different circumstances but after working with the language lady I now understand the rules of the language better. I enrolled in the Monday night group course and loved every minute of it. I was a bit nervous beforehand as I am not naturally good with languages but the course is delivered in a logical, well packaged manner that makes it easy to follow and to pick up the concepts. It contains a good balance between theory, practical class work and practical homework where the concepts learned have an opportunity to be practically applied and absorbed. I came away from the course with the ability to hold basic conversations in Portuguese and with tools to expand thereon. Cláudia is a fantastic, knowledgeable teacher who makes the class engaging, interesting and fun. She is patient and generous with her time and always available on WhatsApp or email to answer any questions between classes (and even after the course was completed). I thoroughly enjoyed the course and, now that my course is over, miss my Monday night class! I highly recommend this course. Thanks Cláudia for everything! I look forward to a level 2 class!
