Order new sunglasses. It take so long to collect in first time for years. Waited for three weeks. Unbelievable Should be 10% discount for late delay. In past it was always ready to collect within 5 days. Excellent but now Not happy - too long. Send email to make sure if banking details for EFT payment are correct. No answer up yo date.

Great service, and amazing after sales service. I had misplaced my invoice that I needed to insure my new sunglasses, I emailed Mellins and with in two days they had sent me a copy of the invoice. Refreshing after sales service, lovely to see a company valuing their customers

Terrible experience. Eye test booked and on arrival no network. Not advised prior to arrival. When raised issue with optometrist she said "whatever". Should have walked out immediately but gave benefit of the doubt. Open on weekends to fit frames, no technician on the day. Again not meeting their promise. Arrive on Monday and machine is broken. The reception area is a mess with tissues on the floor. Technician offers to make a plan after stating she could not fit lenses on site due to broken equipment. They required the frames for 3 to 5 days. Gave up as did not meet their end of agreement.

Terrible service and assurance that R8.5K from my medical aid would be refunded out of my savings once I paid for the frame and lenses. Melin claimed they had checked directly this had been confirmed by Momentum. When I submitted the claim it was rejected based on wrong codes. I have followed by phone and email and no response for the last 10 days despite assurances it would resolved the "next day" and I would have a call immediately thereafter. This is unethical and making false promises to a customer who is now R8.5K out of pocket. I acted in good faith based on their professional assurances and contact with medical aid. The other reading glasees I bought at the same time and were claimed directly by Melins from Momentum was paid immediately to them - tells me a lot !!!
