Friendly nurses, general staff, security and the pharmacist and teller at Clicks. Everybody here is helpful. The entrance is wheelchair friendly, the lifts are also big enough for the wheelchairs. The wards are clean. Restrooms are clean and have handbag-hangers.

Precious who is the reception manager, was one of the most helpful and accommodating people that I have met at Milpark. She took time out of her really hectic schedule to help me even though it was not her job or duty. She made calls for me to my medical aid to sort out my account and went out of her way to assist. She is a true asset to Milpark hospital and I truly appreciate all the effort that she put in to help me.

Doctors are arrogant, lack compassion and proper communication skills. They do not respond to phone calls or bother to return them. Families are kept in the dark regarding the status of loved ones. It is here where one is clearly reminded that you are just a number and life is not of importance and your well-being is of little interest. Just remember to pay your account.

Sister Comfort in Section 3 you have been the most amazing caregiver I’ve ever had. It was always a blessing to see you and be taken care of by you each morning. Keep up the excellent work. Sisters Mhoonga and Charmaine you were awesome and you both made the stay a lot easier and happier. Trevor- keep being that nice guy. You’re absolutely awesome buddy. I still don’t know what it is you do, but you’re awesome. And to the rest of the ladies in Section 3... BLESS YOU. You are all an amazing bunch of people. So thank you for everything. I truly appreciate your spirit, your professionalism and your enthusiasm. Even when the patients were being obnoxious and full of whatever privilege they think they have the team was full of self restraint, kindness and truly showed that they cared about what they did and about the well being of the people in their care.

The service and lack of Care from Dr Rowji the Neurologist was poor. He never returns calls to the patients family and lacks compassion. Living in America for 12 years I remember leaving with memories of Dr's in South Africa having a major level of arrogance and making snarky comments (like this is a board room).... It's shocking to see this behavior is still occurring and not being regulated. This is a hospital! You are taking care of sick and dying patients with family members who are concerned. How can you be so disconnected to NOT know or understand this. It's so sad to see how the brain drain is affecting South Africa and all the disconnected doctors remain and bully the public. Numerous tests were done on my father which were all "clear" and a rush was made to try do surgery of which my father refused. We then took him to another hospital to find he had a blood infection. My father passed away and we were so disappointed in how this doctor handled things.

I would like to congratulate the mammography department at Milpark Hospital. The lady handling reception in mammography is wonderful! She’s efficient and caring . The radiographer was excellent, friendly and makes the patient feel comfortable. Dr Potgieter was wonderful and very thorough ! Well done to all would certainly recommend your department to anyone!!!
